Hi Guys and Gals,
Had my Busa in for a full service last week, picked it up Saturday. Ask JC (old friend and top mechanic) to also replace the dogbones +1" and adjust the suspension setting as follows:-
Front:
Preload: 2 lines showing
Rebound: 3 clicks out
Compression: 4 clicks
Rear:
20mm (0.78â€) of thread preload showing
Rebound: 10 clicks
Compression: 7 clicks
Everthing is fine, the bike is sharper and gives more confidents in the twisties. Only one problem is JC could not set the Compression damper as it was seized.
Any ideas as to how I am going to free them ?
Now I know what the board is like so I expect lots of comments on the fact that I got someone to do the job but it is hard to work on a bike if you are 1000 miles away
Many thanks to the guy that I got these setting from (forgot him name, but he is a fat a## like me) but its based on the Jinkster method and as the guy said its WONDERFUL
