sprocket brand choices for looks and performance

i am polishing and chromin out my whole bike and was thinkin of gettin a polished sprocket. im pretty sure their vortex. has anyone used them? i was wondering if they were just for show and would look like crap if actually used.

Remember, they are aluminum and wear much quicker than the steel.
