Blackberry Tour here...absolutely the most disappointing purchase I have EVER made. I have never hated a thing more in my life.

Sadly, I listened to my friends before making the jump and obviously they had praises to sing. For the first few weeks I assumed "maybe I just hafta get used to it"...but I hate it more and more. I signed a 2 year based off their "love" for the BB. Can't wait to jump ship...looking at the Droid. My friends (surprised by my hatred for this thing) ask why don't you like it? Once I rattle off my first 10 reasons, they've all said...you know...I hate those things too.

Looking forward to getting rid of the BB, then hoping to post a burnout video with my busa sending this BB POS to junkyard heaven.

iPhone 3G here, and I'm waiting a bit to order the iPhone 4.

Only problem with AT&T service (none with the phone) here in Philly occurred after they enabled multimedia messaging in texts--so, only in my office, I have to switch to the Edge network (2G) so that calls don't drop off.

Funny story: someone in my office handed me a new Blackberry the other day to check out an e-mail, and I immediately put my fingers all over the screen to get it to scroll, and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Then, I hit the scroll pad (it's a new Blackberry), inadvertently clicked on something, and didn't want to go any further for fear of deleting the message. The guy laughed at me, since he's the most tech-illiterate person (by his own admission) in the office.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic ...

Does the same as the iPhone at half the price ... And, by the way, is a better phone, camera, video recorder, text/video message, internet GPRS ... Free GPS/satnav

I had bunch of sp or dp gadgets till I got the iPhone (2G) and never looked back. I currently use a 3GS and tempted to bite the bullet for the iPhone4 but opted to wait for 4GS or equivalent iPhone.

We've been w/ Verizon for several years and have no plans to change carriers.

I had a Blackberry Tour that I got this past December - loved it. But our macaw bit off 2 of the buttons, so by using one of our other upgrades, I got a Motorola Droid last week.

I absolutely LOVE it! Much better functionality than the Blackberry. Better display and browser and the Apps are fun.

I have to admit that I'm an Apple hater. I have an ipod, but Mac, iphone and ipad users drive me crazy. And I resent that the first 15-20 min. of every meeting I'm in is spent comparing iphone apps.

I also have to admit that I'm pretty bad about the Droid apps, but I try to only beat down my friends and family not my co-workers during meetings.

Just picked up a BB 9700 after trying the iphone, sony x10 etc ... and for me, nothing beats a blackberry. Simple things like scrolling to the bottom of the page or snapping a quick picture are a whole ordeal on the iphone or android ... and that virtual keyboard, no thanks. Then there's the whole reception issue with ANY iphone ... especially the iphone4.

If I had to pick a full screen phone, it would be an android phone. Android is the future ... besides that, i'll keep my blackberry.

oh and the 200,000 apps ... give me a break, the vast majority of them are totally useless and pointless ... i could bring up the word 'toy' again but that'll piss off a bunch of users.

Android rocks in this area anyways ...
