Shoei X-11 or TZ-R? or ???

Okay, so while I had some time on my hands I re-evaluated my current head protection (HJC CL-??) while great, and free with the bike, I don’t think it qualifies as great? I don’t want to skimp on my “domeâ€￾. I was thinking of picking up a Shoei, either the X-11 or the TZ-R?

Why does it list on most sites that the (lower priced) TZ-R is lighter and more comfortable than the pricey X-11?

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated

**Yea, I know im like the little brother with all the questions. Well if you guys would start giving bad answers then I would stop.

I have an X-11 too and I love it. It's so much lighter than my previous lid (HJC CL-14) and I notice that on the longer runs, my neck doesn't bother me nearly as much as it used to...

I do have some wind noise with this X-11, maybe a tad more than with the HJC, but I won't go back...

Michelle....jfyi.....imho?...the big reason the X-11 releives neck strain is because the dang thing is so aerodynamic...actually designed in a wind-tunnel to feel lighter than it is through aerodynamic design..that vacuum lift tail on the back plays a big role in reducing the wieght of the helmet on the riders head...and you nailed the "slightly noisier" part...as the X-11 has superior venting to anything i've tried...and that's important to me as i live in south freaking florida..summertime temps are brutal...the X-11 flows some serious air....I love mine!
