search function useless?

I do a search on wheel grease and get "how to polish your frame"? Don't get me wrong, it was good reading but not what i was looking for.

Sounds like you didn't restrict the search to "wheel grease" so you got every post that contained "wheel" or "grease"

I just searched for VaBusa and pink....got about the right number of results...pretty accurate too!

It works pretty good for me. Do a lot of searches for others here. James has you squared away on this one.

I search for "useless search function" and it showed this thread.

Search function can be tricky at times. I try to use a minimum of 3 key words(phrase) when using it. Sometimes you have to play with different variations of what you want.
