SEALs accused of covering up detainee abuse will head to Iraq for trial - WTKR

Ongoing event from last winter but I cannot believe it is still proceeding.

Wait a min. Seals train longtime, Hardened Warriors, told to Kill Kill Kill our enemies and protect the innocent.
Go over on mission and capture a most wanted individual.
Sometime during the process poor little guy gets punched in the stomach and suffers a bloody lip...
OoooooooooooH my.....
Ok so maybe it happened after they captured him and subdued him..
Shows extreme level of professionalism and discipline from the simple fact they didn't Swiss Cheese him !

Instead of lifelong praise for a job well done now Bizarro World is gonna continue with their court martial ?

:wtf: is going on here ?
Can anyone please explain or support this decision ?

Yes, WTF is going on here. Get's punched in the stomach and it's abuse? The dirt bag is still alive and breathing so they couldn't have abused him too much!

Our servicemen and women are expected to conduct their duties with the full confidence of their commanders, the support of the people and the rules governing actions in hostile situations.

It is important that our servicemen and women conduct themselves with the utmost respect and honor for the people they represent and the country they defend...

With that said, the SEAL's should have done the most honorable thing to do in this situation...they should have conducted themselves accordingly and with honor...they should have made sure no one found that POS when they were done w him...and they should have honorably disappeared into the night, leaving nothing but a spatter on the ground..

Welcome to the future of America. Doing what's popular will get you praise, as long as nobody starts whining. Doing what's right will get you sent to prison.

That is so sad. Are the powers that be intentionally trying to destroy everything that America stands for? Bastids!
