I have a Gen I. I was replacing the rear brakes and rotor. I have a habit of trying to put it back the same way I took it apart. But my gut is telling me that something may be a miss.....

On the rear rotor (stock, oem replacement), like a coin, there's two sides. One side the center is blackened, on the revers it's all polished looking. My previous one had the polished side showing, but I have observed that on the blackened side, where the bolts go it appears to be sunk and the bolts fit flush. My gut said put the black side out... Any feedback would be appreciated.

Sir,
Black side is out; bolts should be installed through the recessed holes.

I painted over the black on my last stock rotor - just for asthetics.
