I was wondering how would I go about swapping out the clutch lever on the mighty Busa. Of course not only would I need to remove the old one, but also install a new one.

Thanks in advance

There is a two way retention bolt, meaning that you have to remove the nut from the underside, then unscrew the threaded bolt. After that, you can pull the lever assembly out (there is a little "L" shaped tab on the end of the lever) and then straight back, but be careful that you don't lose the round bushing that conacts the plunger inside your clutch cylinder. When you change levers, you will reuse the bushing, bolt and nut... put the bushing in the lever and align the hole in the bushing with the plunger and push the "L" shaped tab back into the cylinder housing, then straight in.. screw the threaded bolt back in, tighten the nut onto the bolt and you are done.

Hope this helps...

Thanks Mustang. It went like butter and took all of 5 minutes. The replacement lever I got came with one screw and one nut so I kinda figured it was easy to do. I just decided to come here and ask just to be 100% sure. Fact being that it wasn't my bike, I didn't want to take any chances at screwing anything up.

<marquee>Thanks again ...
