I am contemplating removing my footpegs, front and rear for some chrome work. I am fine on the rearsets and front pegs, but does the tail have to come off to get thepassenger foot pegs off?

Try that one more time. I mean the pegs and the brackets, the grey part.

Yes ! The rear plastic cowl has to be removed in order to unbolt the rear peg mount . Besure to use the blue loc tite when reinstalling your bolts, not the red loc tite.

Man its all pretty strati foward. What got me was the frankestien bolts (cargo bolts) Well the plastic center of them pops out so you can unscrew them. Notto hard. Oh yeah and dont forget to reconnect the trunk latch switch. I didnt and had to cut my undertail to get into my trunk. other than that nuttin hard
