I'm headed out tomorrow too! Not for fishing, just to be out on the lake. I might take my books with me and do some homework out on the water. That would be much better than sitting in here on the couch doing it. Spend the day out on the lake AND do something productive. Makes for a great day! Supposed to be 75 and sunny in Hatwell, GA tomorrow. I'll take the camera snap some pics to make everyone a little more jealous.

Chris, it is a Kentucky or spotted bass. They look a lot like a large mouth except are usually smaller and more numerous. In Tennessee you can keep 12 inchers, but large mouths have to be 15 inches to keep. The easiest distinguishing factor is that they have a small spot of teeth on their tongue whereas the large mouth tongue is smooth. These little ones hang out on the bluffs about a half a mile from the house and are lots of fun to catch on light tackle They are strong little devils and like to jump out of the water.
