Rearset heel guards????

Ok guys i have a set of valtermoto
Type 3.5 rearsets..and the heel guards i have are carbon fiber..i was wanting to know if there is anywhere i can get a different set of heel guards at ? I really dont want to try to paint these..or is there someone that can make me a custom set ? They look like a really simple design...im really not sure if any other heel guards will interchange with these?? Or does anyone have an idea what i could make a pair out of??

find you a machine shop or get you some aluminum cutters and trace the shape and pattern you want and go to town. then put you a finish of whatever you want.

Kinda what i was thinking...but then i would have to try to paint aluminum..
The heel gaurds are not that big so making them would not be a problem..i guess the best or easiest thing would be to paint the carbon fiber ones..how would paint hold up on carbon fiber? Any advice on what kind of paint to use?
