Would like to see your project. I just made a luggage rack for my Busa about a month ago or so.

Made of 5/8 square tubing with mounting bracket welded on , which bolts on with grab rail bolts. Will paint better later.

I made mine without the vertical loup. I just wanted a little extra space to strap down a roll pack or sleeping bag to. Haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it should work fine.

Very nice frame. That's whats nice about one's own custom work, make exactly what you want for your application.
