All else aside and if both were angels who’s the rightful king, Andrew or Charles? Charles because he’s older? When Charles croaks will Camilla become Queen or Andrew or Harry king because she’s not a true royal?
Prince William is next in line to the throne as the eldest son of King Charles...

If Charles kicked the bucket
It would go to his 1st son William

For Andrew to become king, both
William and Harry and all their children would need to die before Andrew got a look in

Andrew as king would not go down well

It seems Andrew is back out of the cold with a new Royal position:(

Anyone watch the funeral yesterday....

My wife and I watched most of it mainly because this sort of event is a once in a lifetime event...they certainly walked a long distance....those Household troops walking in bear hats and reversed arms must have felt it this morning....

I can't imagine standing at attention for as long as they do.
I wonder how you get a job as a guard at the palace?
Command knows who their best guys are to recommend to try out when a position is available?

I can recall standing on a more than a few parades that were long....that's one of the reasons all commands have a precautionary-to bring people out of their trances before responding to a command.

What most don't notice is the guards are switched out pretty regularly, so they aren't standing as long as people think they are.

I would think their selection process is pretty robust.
