I did not like the VW BUG look of the genII also anyone trying to race with one will tell you it rubs when you stretch it. Also the 99/00 subframe is 7lbs lighter there is more room in the tail section now it looks more sleek and I can tell my bike from all the others. I personly did not like the new tail so I changed it. Now when I park next to all the other genII busa's it really looks better to me.

I love the look of the GEN1's tail. when I upgrade and buy new I will be changin the tail as well. looks way better than the GEN2 tail.

Love the way that orange busa looks, especially the swingarm...how long is that arm? Also what size/manufacturer is that tail? I'm thinking about puting a passenger seat back on my busa.

there 6 over tails mine is catalyst and i believe toxic has a airtech if i remember correctly....i sure love that blue color ive been looking to trade my black and gray bodywork for the blue i wish i could find someone interested

Good luck, I had to buy a blue bike to get blue plastics haha. no one wanted to trade or trade plus cash when i was trying to do the exact same thing.

I tried for about a year :/ There was entire set of 08 blue fairings on psychobike for $1500 I believe. I miss my stretched bike, but I keep telling myself I'm going to leave this one stock wheelbase....

Sorry For the Late Reply Fellaz........ The Swingarm is a Macintosh 3-9" over Alumi Pro. The Tail is a Airtech 6" Over Street Tail(Gunny was 100% Correct )

The funny thing is, I went to the dealership October 2007 and I said "I want the new blue busa" and they said they didnt have any yet, so I asked if I could leave a deposit (I wanted mine first) he said he had 4 people ahead of me so I said cool, and left a deposit anyway. 2 days later I got a call that my bike was ready, I asked about the other people ahead of me and they all wanted orange or black busas...the first one they got was blue. For a good 2 months I was the only one riding around on a 2008 busa slammed and stretched, I think CSC had one but they were making the LRG bike so that didnt count since that bike was in the shop the whole time.

Sweet, I have a 3-9 adjustable as well (thompson) but my tail is a little long and I dont know, just big lol...yours looks real sleek, now I regret selling my rear sets and seat....damn. oh well...ebay it is. Oh btw what year 1000 fender do you guys use for the front? I think I'm gonna swap mine out as well.
