I don't usually don't even open threads that are clearly flame-a-thons because they usually end up pissing me off to the point where I shake, but this one is almost reasonable. I just read this thread tonight so forgive my lag. (loading my flame thrower with bubble bath)

Could you be more specific, is there test report on the aerodynamic stability of that bike? Just curious, I don't want to read about how good their missiles are, just their bikes."
I'd add to that, Maui, Kawasaki's Ninjas are missiles :-)

Your reference that the same engineers which design missiles and other hi tech products, are being reassigned to design a puke green fairing with "wings". Ninja you must be lacking blood to the brain on a HiFlow day, I am glad you have wings."
I would add to that, Suzuki makes the Samurai too. Powered by a chain saw engine and easily tipped over. Be proud of that too.
On a serious note.
Someone said the delivery date of the ZX12 in Canada is Jan 15, 00. Looking forward to it.
I own a 1200cc Ninja ZX11 and if it wasn't 30*F outside I'd be riding it, no magazine here. I have 42 mm milled down Honda Blackbird carbs (+10hp), 2 mm bore, 5 mm Falicon stroker, Carrie Andrew cleaned up head, undercut trans, KnN, Muzzy and the rest (what's left) is stock. It flat out hauls. I have a set of Web cams and a used NOS kit that I'd like to put on this winter. I can imagine how the new 12 will run.
Chill out!!
The 12 isn't here, but it will be.
The Busa started out as a rumor too except it was supposed to be a 1500.
The Blackbird never really caused a stink because in some magazines it was 1mph faster and in others it was 2mph slower.
I think in the end it will be determined with the RADAR gun. I feel pretty certain that the 12 will be quicker and faster. Personally I'm looking forward to a short wheelbase 160+hp superbike. I'd feel just like Doug Chandler. See you on the expressway.

PS Lyle, when you get your bike let's ride sometime. Anyone else near Harrisburg Pennsylvania?
