Poor guys andswer to TRE

I can't afford 50-160 for a Smart TRE. and I also hate waiting. So I found a site that taught me how to make 1. Site is here http://wotid.com/tls/content/view/17/57/ the pdf @ bottom of page helped the most

10 buck @ radio shack
2 film canisters
alot of electrical tape!

Now I have a S TRE.....best part it works!

nope just put it in today. I only said it worked cause the bike started. I just went on a little ride. Holy **** that makes a difference even on the low end....Tomorrow it's 187 and beyond!

I think you can tell it's working by taking your rpms up to 2500. Then pull in the clutch & the rpms should drop by 500...

This will not change the stock RPM limit in 6th because the resistance value used is the same as 6th... 15K. This is a TRE, not an RPM de-limiter.

Does your gear indicator show 6th in every gear but neutral?

well your right. I looked @ the site and because I chose the resistance for 6th it won't let me break 186. I'm building one for 5th today!
