PAIR VALVE REMOVAL?

How does one remove the pair valves? Where are they located and what do they look like?
Is this done along with the air box mod.(motorhead)?
I just got my tri-oval Yoshi pipe and it sounds seeerious...but they didn't have the plates to block off the pair...how do I remove them?

Guys,
With a new 4-1 exhaust, or the Motorhead air box mod, the pair valve is history. If not removed, you will have backfiring. (TMH airbox renders it inoperable) You will find the tubing from the air box to the exhaust pipes
and a "flapper" under the air filter.
