So I was sitting in church this morning and all of a sudden I was overwhelmed with the idea to post access to my church.

I think my church is pretty cool, pretty laid back. I have known the pastor
for a long time and I have a lot of respect for him.

a little background, my church is non denominational, meaning we believe in a relationship not a religeon. We dont have mandatory registration, we dont beat on peoples doors etc.

Anyway, for Christians who are interested, check it out.

for those of you who are not Christians and are on the fence, here is a chance for you to check out a church without anyone knowing about it.

For those of you that dont believe in God or hate God, well here is a chance to get to know God without anyone knowing about it so you dont have to worry about being ridiculed by your friends and will give you a chance you make your own decision.

Here is the main site

Here is the coolest thing I think, live video feed of our services. worship and teaching

Copy the below link and paste into your browser

mms://216.240.136.123/fellowship-v-017

It should automatically launch your media player. if it doesn't work you can get to the live feed from the main site and click on "WATCH"
The services are on Sunday at 8:15 and 10:15

I like the live feed if I am on travel or something.

And here are some other worship resources

I am kind of partial to our worship team. You just need to listen to understand

I am in central California.

My pastor has always been been partial too technology. it started with video feeds to our child care area, then our cafe so if people wanted to sit in our cafe instead of sitting in the main hall they could, then we began having pod casts of our service and now we have live worship feeds. which like I said is awesome if I am gone on a Sunday or something I can watch on my laptop lol..

i like how you guys think out of the box. the important thing is people relationship with God not dressing a certain way, or looking a right, or even praying a special way.

Sharing God's simple plan of salvation over the web or in person makes no dif.
People can except Jesus as their savior on their computer just as well.
You also gave them an open invitation for any questions they have.
I for one will keep checking this thread for any questions.

I'm not on the fence, and have made my own decision.I'm an athiest. But, I do appreciate the spirit of the offer.. no pun intended, but kinda funny so I left it in..

Very nice Ron, thanks for sharing.

at our congregation today we reviewed the Israelites exodus from Egpyt. I didnt realize the estimate of people that left was around 3 million! and that they marched orderly in battle formation. Exodus 13:18

The application was even though they seemed to complain alot they were following Gods direction and so should we in modern times.

I used to go to a Calvery church, kind of stopped as I didn't see eye to eye with some of that particular churchs' beliefs. For instance, they said it was paganistic to go trick or treating or celebrate easter. I know these holidays have a paganism back ground to an extent but what doesn't now a days. I think it's all how you approach it, you know with a with a secular mindset. Halloween is celebrated by the great majority of people today is one of our most fun holidays. It has nothing to do with nationhood and has lost its religious significance for most people. Any ways, that amongst other things pushed me away, not from God but that church.

That is one of the "odd" things I have found about Calvary's

"most" of them stay true to a basic concept (teach directly form the bible. more teaching than preaching) however after that they sometimes go off into different directions.

Our church celebrates easter, we have easter sun rise service etc.

Yes our Church you might say "frowns" on Halloween and trick or treating but no one in the church would say anythng to you if you did. It is one of those areas that our church offers information about the origins of Halloween and that is about as far as it goes, they dont try and force anyone NOT to participate.

One of the reasons I posted a link to our live service, to let people check it out.

I have been to other Calvary's (in South Carolina, Southern California) and I have heard from people that have attended Calvary's in other places. and from personal experaince I can say ours seems to be a little different, mostly in we have our beliefs and we are there to support people but not there to ram anything down anyones throat or to make them feel guilty about what they do. We just try to be there for them.

if ya think about it, the way we celebrate IS very wrong... celebrating death, blood, scare supernatural ghosts, blood sucking vampires etc >>> and getting CANDY for it. Talk about desensitising! but, growing up I did it just like anyone else... FREE CANDY!!!! and I knew it wasn't real. I think it only makes sense a church doesn't support it. but life goes on and people need some fun. but seriously, HALF of our life is already sacreligious, blasphmemous and hypocritical: going to work to beat down the other guy and get on top, watching desperate housewives' affairs for entertainment, worshipping money etc etc etc..... eh... whaddya gonna do?
