You don’t have to pull the bar off every time you want the hump if you swap between solo and riding with the GF as I do.

Plus its aero dynamic geometry helps hold the rear tire down at 150+ (BS but sounds good)

Why did it take so long to do?
It took me about 5 minuets with my die grinder then a straight and round file to make look factory.

Personally, I think it looks cool and yes-no phucking with the bolts. Also I needed somewhere to tie my rope to waterski! It took me a while with my dremel, becuase I kept doing a small amount at a time and putting it back on to see how close it was. I didn't want to grind any more than nessasary.

You did a great job using a dremel. Now it makes sense why it took a while. Better to be slow and do a good job then to rush something and f it up.:D

Here are the tools I used to do my hump mod. Just take your time so you don't mess it up. Hump cost around $135. Good luck!

I used this grinder bit, it works great. I didn't need to use tape-it leaves a clean edge. I used a marker and put small dots for reference points using a tape measure. Go less than you need to and keep checking it. It worked great for my slider holes, too.

Looks good, Diesel! That's the one appearance mod I have thought about doing, but just haven't. Probably will when I get back. I think because I wasn't doing much switching between the hump and passenger seat I didn't do it. The hump was on for a long time and I just found someone to ride with me before I left, so we will have to see when I get back. 'Gotta love that Dremel!
