Ohlins on the Gen 3

Will be the same as a gen2.
What exactly does that mean? It works/fits or doesn't on a Gen-3? I'm considering getting an Ohlin's rear shock. My research shows an Ohlin's TTX36. I found at least one on Ebay that says it's good for 2024 Hayabusa. Has anyone installed one of these on their Gen-3, and if so, was it an adventure or a straight forward bolt-on and go?

at hte risk of sounding like that guy (ohlins rear shock for 20+ outta stock) are we SURE i can buy something for gen2 and throw it on there?

today, i was gonna add some preload then saw that the lock rings are trash. all the little teeth/castle points are bent upward a bit, at an angle. silly. cheapass pot metal is the problem here.

hm. the reason i ask is i'm thinking about selling this thing and getting a harley.

yeah yeah, i know i know.

so i'm at least checking into the things about the busa i really, really would need to change. one of them being the rear shock, need to make it easier to change it up for 1up/2up riding.
