I have been thinking about installing a nitrous kit on my bike. I mainly use the bike for drag racing, but I do sometimes ride it on the street.
The bike is 100% stock except for an arm and gearing. Well, it does have Yoshi slip-ons. But that is all.

Question is: How long will the motor last if I spray? It has like 8000mi on it now. I won't spray every pass, but, sometimes you need an extra boost when your lights stink or something.
Then there will probably be times that I spray just to see how fast I can go.

But I do not want to do anything that will hurt my motor! I don't have the cash to rebuild right now. So, is it safe?

If it is safe do I go wet shot or dry shot? I don't want to use a big shot, and I want to keep the system completely out of sight.

Do any of you guys happen to have an old used system laying around that you will part with CHEAP

sounds like you just need a basic dry shot. Spraying the way you want isn't going to cause any excessive wear. The higher in the revs you are before you spray the softer the hit on the bearings... Just run good race gas and check your plugs to be on the safe side...

Don't cheap out and get used solenoids (sp) you're just looking for trouble then. You can get a whole brand new kit with everything and a 2lb bottle for less than you think.

theres a few options you can do with the above excellent how to.
you can buy a plate on here from one of our members and do the small airbox mod, install the plate so that it will inject straight into the breather.
use a fan spray nozzle for this. run your soleniod closer to the motor for more of a kick. start on small jets and build up to say around a .40 jet, but the most important thing is to have a power commander and get it tuned for this amount of nitrous. running smaller amounts you can adjust the box yourself by bumping up the fuel. the fastest way to install is into the breather tubes on either side.
if you want the sleeper bike, get the 2lb bottle and brackets for the hump.
