It's a Nylon mesh I beleive with a lining that you can remove if you wanted..

Nice Jacket Mr. X, I got mine off of Ebay for $175. At least Joe Rocket didn't discontinue them like Shoei/Suzuki did the matching helmet for the 06LE. More bikes than helmets.
