Original ones were loose and worn out so I got these at cycle gear yesterday.
Made in EyeTaly :) . I was a bit disappointed they didn't come with any grip glue? Install recommendation was use light soapy water, push em on and let dry for a day. Been on since last night and seem to be getting more solid on bar. We will have to see if they stay put on a ride. Also if you have ThrottleMeisters make sure to remove the rubber collet bushing underneath throttle grip before you use a razor to cut off old grip. If not like me this be you :banghead: Pashnit help!

What do you think?

I always use a bit of the non-permanent grip glue myself. I still have the stock grips on mine though and use grip puppies over them. Had to take the throttle side off though to trim it for the Vista cruise.

Hairspray works good as well.

Have used quite a few sets of ProGrips and haven't had any problems without grip glue. They look nice.

No that's the way they came. Matte black ThrottleMeisters.
Thanks all else. I like em too. A bit skinnier but they should work.

I had ProGrip grips on my Gen 1; they were great. I found the easiest way to get them off was with an air compressor.

looks good, i might look into new grips soon. I have the harris busa grips, which i love the look of, but they're pretty firm grips. Wouldn't mind some nice gel grips or something a bit thicker and softer. I have always used hairspray on the grips and it works like a charm. Used to do this all the time on my bicycles as a kid and have done it twice now on motorcycle grips and they have held great. Just have to let it sit for a few hours or overnight and it should hold fine

I've got the 719's on mine and the throttle side moves, but the clutch side is solid. I need to pull it back off and put some glue in there. Looks good!
