Need help with friends bike, chain broke going like 10mph

Friend chain broke last night damaging the gear cover and this part right here? he need help on identifying the parts, and what all we need to inspect on it slow oil leaking after chain cracked it

Yikes, we just saw another one like this a few days ago. Looks like you broke the gear shift cover and the water pump. Both should be replaceable without pulling the engine.

Yep, looks just like the other thread...most likely the parts are the same to fix it.....but at least it's fixable....

I've been riding for longer than I want to admit but I've never had a chain break....(knock on wood)

Ok the oil leaking I think it’s coming from that crack gear selector but oil run through it?????
