Dogs recognize two syllables much better than one. It isn't the word, but the flow of the command that makes sense to them.

Brownie does sound good to me, but when I usually have a female dog I give them a girls name. My last male pitbull that I had I named him King. I gave him this name because when I picked him up from the breeder he was asleep on top of this little dirt hill and none of the other dogs would bother him. Good luck with getting her named. :thumbsup:
