anyone have any pics of an 08 or 09 busa with the front fairing and plastic off? And is it legal to ride like that? I just discovered there's another black busa in my town now and want to set mine apart from his and am thinking of something extreme. Just don't know what yet.

Check your local laws, but I seriously doubt you'll be ticketed for riding a naked Busa. It would be a shame though. Try some appearance mods, and you can never have enough of the fastest color Busi around

A naked Busa would make your bike look more scary and aggressive. If a BKing is legal then a naked Busa wouldn't be any different. :beerchug:

Don't do it. Take Dad Of 3's advice and do some appearance mods. A naked Busa would not look right IMO.

as long as you retain a headlight and turnsignals you can do it. Sorry but no metter what you do it's never going to be unique/one of a kind. Put a sticker on your bike and that'll solve your problem.

most "naked" busa's are a result of a crash the guy could not afford to fix... READ: just ripping off the plastic is going to look like a cheap "fix"

I bet you could do a nice looking street fighter look but it is going to take some careful thought and a pile of dough.... (and a lot of underlying bling) :)

ok, on youtube, all the ghostrider videos look like he's riding a busa without the fairing and plastic. Is that the same as the Bking, or even similar?

also, a little off topic. Will removing the cans reduce power, improve power, not do a damn thing for power, or hurt the motor at all? I love the way it sounds without them and it seems like the throttle response is super quick, just not sure if I'm risking damage. Thanks.

riding the old girl naked could make for some "conversation piece" road rash! "Hey, did I show you this one..."
