This is my first season hunting with a bow. I bought a browing rage left handed bow used on craigslist. I love it. I took this buck at about 22yards. Straight pass with a fixed muzzy mx4 broadhead. Having a great season so far. I marinated this in a 60 40 mix of alegro and head country. 4 days or so. I did this after I kept all the meat on fresh ice for a week. Draining it and adding more ice. Helps get the game taste out. My pup and I enjoyed this like a king and queen. The beer is a beer I was just introduced to called trois pistoles. Fantastic beer. If you like beer you have 2 try it.

My pup and I had our fill and our jestor should be here shortly.

Congrats on the first bow score! Bow Hunting is like bikes, it's gets into your blood. I don't hunt anymore but was an avid archer for many many years and killed mosts everything huntable on this continent from Grizzly Bear to the lowly rabbit! Have many memories to reminisce about in my old age!

Keep up the good work! :beerchug:

How many deer are you allowed in Oklahoma?

thanks brother. we are allowed 2 damn many deer in this state. like 3 doe (not including nuisance tags) and 2 bucks i think. honestly i am not sure. i wish we would adopt kansas' game rules at only one buck. thats how u get the beasts all over the place
