my 08 busa what to do first ?

Sup fellaz!

I sold my 01 busa blk/slv and picked up the orange 08 this past saturday (fathers day present ). I had alot of Inexpensive mods done to my 01 and I am needing to know what mods should I do first to my new baby. I know for sure by reading on here I need to cop the r77 4-1 pipe. What other mods can be done to get a bit more ponies. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

I reckon the R77 is the best mod you can really do for the money for BHP & weight loss.

After that you spend a lot for minimal return bearing in mind you'll have +/- 190bhp to play with

Get a Tsukigi Cannon exhaust. Yosh is overated and everyone has one. Not bashing Yosh by any means. I have owned several yosh pipes and enjoyed them. i just wanted to mix things up.

This was taken in the service area at *barger's All Sports* - waco,tx* on 6-14-08. I rolled it out shortly there after and brought it home to Dallas !

Congrats on the bike BigStew !!!

I did the Buell peg mod to get an extra 2" of legroom, and went with the Brock's Alien Head exhaust system. You can get new luggage bolts that replace the "Frankenstein" bolts in front of the hump on each side and remove the entire rear mud flap and fabricate a license plate holder using some of the brackets from the flap.. The Buell peg mod is around 85-90 bucks from GSX1300R-T here on the .Org, the bolts you can get from smithabusa here on the .Org as well...

bird hunter - were you able to get the 2 inches because of the different exhaust - in looking at stock bike there does not seem to be 2 inches to move pegs lower, although a thinner footpeg will help as well. I am looking at vortex rearsets. I pick my bike up this week and am starting to put my mods list together. thx much
