well i am only about 12hrs away from making a decision on if i should get a 1397 done on my ride. she has 43k on her. last fall i had the entire lower end redone when i replaced 1st and 2nd gear. I mean oil pump and all...upper and lowers etc. the only thing left was the cylinder head....She is down at my friends shop Extreme Performance Cycle. I posted up all i did last year. THey did a wonderful job..... I have a feeling that I will be doing this. I was debating on it since its an 06. I was thinking maybe a turbo or maybe wait to see if there would be a 3rd gen busa... i dont know...Not that I think there is one but does anyone have any negatives as to why it would be a bad idea... I totally trust my shop and have no hesitations about there abilities whatsoever so setting aside the concern of who does the work, anything else.? THey will tune it as well....

If you're not buying a gen2, go for it, because the gen3 will probably be a few more years from now.

Personally, I would sell it and upgrade to a Gen-II... :beerchug:

i cant bring myself to selling that bike. I know, an emotional attachment to an inanimate object.. silly but true. besides a new one isnt in the budget really. in a few years but as they say timing is everything
