I have been tryin to get myself motivated to do this for awhile....today it was time.
I got some DOW insulation board from work because they were throwing it away. Didn't know at the time what I was gonna use it for but could see potential lol. Eventually it told me it wanted to be a custom insert for the factory case my compact 1911 came with.
It's a Kimber Ultra Carry II. and pics are in order of assembly lol. Afterwards I had to use Simple Green to get the spray adhesive and black fuzzies off my hands lol.
