Looking To Change Under Tail???

I am interested in changing the apperance of my bike and was wanting some feed back on what undertail to go with. I just got back from Iraq and have been out of it for a while. Websites and personal opinions are welcome. Thank for the help and Hayabusa.org Rocks!!

Congratulations for making it back safely from Iraq! The best undertail depends on what you are looking to do to your bike. Lots of opinions and you can find a bunch doing a search for undertails. TopGun and UFO are popular, but again depends on your goals.

Congratulations on the safe return! Same as what everybody else says, its your preference and how you want the bike to look. I, purchased my undertail from NYCPARTS.COM, its a good looking undertail on the bike. the only thing is you have to purchase a intergrater to make the lights work properly.

Not trying to jack the thread but have a curious question on the Extreme undertails.

I want to keep my license plate mounted on the undertail and I know they come with a bracket but what about a light for it. Does it come with a light for the license plate also or do you have to rig something there to keep it legal for night riding?

I am in the process of putting on a JVM Eurobike undertail on my bike. I picked it up new on ebay for $115.00. I looked at all the undertails, and this one had all the features I wanted. LED tail and brake light. It has 2 amber standard bulb directionals with amber covers and a license plate light flush mounted on the underside. I am getting one of the NYC parts hinged license plate mounts which will work with the predrilled holes on my undertail. I cut off all the old fender with a Dremel tool and now that it's fitting right and all electrical connections work properly, I'll have the undertail painted. Libertek also makes a nice small LED light for the license plate that should work for you.

Thanks for the response.. I ordered the Top Gun from Street and Track so just waiting for it to show up and see how the lighting goes. Then decide from there.

I like Motorheads undertail, but I like the look of the modified stock light on the back, vs the two seperate lights of the UFO

The TG undertail does not come with a light for the license plate, but you can order a light for it. I ordered one for mine and then relocated my plate to the swingarm.
