Locked rear seat cowl

Such a bonehead move. Put a full airshifter system with dyna light and all. Forgot to attach cable to key in rear before I put the cover on?
Anyone ever do this?? And what can I do to open it without having to cut the cover in half to get access. Then buy a new cover as well.
Have some access, but no luck of getting in there. Any and all help would be greatfull.

Don't panic, this has been done numerous times and there are threads about how to fix it.

I would do a search til the experts get here.
