I currently have motogp alpine textile pants sz 36 and the waist is fine but my legs are getting so tight in them that I really cant wear them anymore, I lift weights pretty regularly and have a basic body builder build(say that three times fast) im 6'1 220 and increasing. Standing measurements are-thigh at midway between knee and hip is 25.5" right above knee cap is 15.75" and calves are a good 16". All the leather pants I see look as if they are made for 160lb stick legs that dont have the bulging quads and calves... I really want leather so I can take her to the track but dont know where to start, I looked at every pair on newenough.com and the pants that seem to be the best option and cheapest are the rocket 2.0... any help on this would be great, im looking for the lowest cost possible so dont suggest custom leathers:whistle:

riding weather is soon upon us!

You may have to go to a leather specialist and have a suit customized for you, bro. The best fitting suits for American Builds are Alpinestars and Komodo.

If your calves are that big, have you considered what you are going to do about boots?

Anyway, most of the Euro suit manufacturers I'm aware of tailor their suits for their own, which is typically smaller framed, slighter built, lighter weighted than their 'hefty' American counterparts...

I had an AGV Sport suit custom tailored and it was well worth the $.

Good luck, yo. :beerchug:

Try these. I bought a pair and couldn't be happier. The price is right too! Very heavy duty leather, lined and they fit well. Short zippers at the leg bottoms for easy on/off with your boots. They do come a size small so order one size up.

eBay Motors: EXL-MP119 MENS LEATHER RACING MOTORCYCLE CE ARMOR PANTS (item 290297621948 end time Feb-26-09 16:08:55 PST)

Now thats what im talking about, your not kidden the price is right! I might order a pair just for the heck of it, thanks

I really like mine but they do run small so make sure an order a size up. I think mine are 3X but they're really a 2X and fit just fine.

I have the same problem with pants. My current leathers are perfect fit in the calves (18 inch calves) but too snug right above the knees (just over 21 inches). Then comes the waist where they are too big, I've got a 38 inch waist. I do carry a few lbs I don't need but most of this is from working my legs so hard in the past.

Boots are tough as well. Although I fit in mine it wouldn't take much more on the calves and they would be a lost cause.
