K&n air filter / slip-on pipes

when going from a stock air filter to a K&N air filter with slip-on pipes, is it necessary to use a PC on the Busa or will stock still work well?

DON'T KNOW AS MUCH AS THE OTHER BUSA EXPERTS BUT I DID PUT SLIP ONS ON MY 02. MADE THE BIKE A BIT SLUGGISH BELOW 4000RPMS BUT I'M STILL ABLE TO BLOW BOTH MY FRIENDS AWAY ON THEIR 12'S. DID THE SMALL AIR BOX MOD PICKED IT UP A BIT IN THE LOW RPMS. ABOUT TO INSTALL A PCIIIR TOMORROW. WATCH OUT FOR THE "STUNNAH"!!!!

IOf you go to a K&N or a BMC with slip ons it is not needed to have a PC II, but it won't hurt to fine tune.
