:cheerleader: All over til next year. Getting a nice refund with enough to cover buying a trailer and a handful of mods for the busa  :cheerleader:

I am so glad I am not a resident of North Carolina because i would have almost no refund because the state income tax here wouldve taken almost my whole return. I dont like this state and its ridiculous amount of taxes whether it be its high real estate taxes, yearly vehicle taxes, or the newly discovered by myself stupid high income tax. Another reason why i miss Florida

Not looking forward to doing mine. Double income, no kids = BIG $ at tax time.. :(

Wait til you have to start paying ESTIMATED taxes on income you have not yet RECEIVED....

I can't wait to do mine .
Times like this I'm happy to be married with children and classified as a homesteader.

BIG REFUND :cheerleader:

My two cents, but in times like this it is better to owe a bit at the end of the year. The time is coming when you might see your "refund" applied to next years taxes with a "Thanks for doing business" note from Uncle Sam.

Oh, and congrats on the refund and your new trailer.

Thanks  Yeah gonna make a trip over to charlotte this weekend or next and pick it up. I gotta pay a little bit more but its still cheaper than anything else around

I am glad when I get nothing back (and owe nothing) it means uncle sam didnt use my money for a 0% loan!

but it was nice to be poor for a while and get 5k back in a return one time...

Apprehensive about mine

2 good incomes
Unemployed 6.5 mos last yr, collected unemployment, no taxes taken out
3 kids
Homeowner
Gotta start paying back 1st time homeowners loan from 2 yrs ago

I cant wait to get mine back. Getting a new heat and air system put in. Mine is a little old and inefficent. Its a 1987 model. A friend is putting it in so I am getting a pretty good deal, but still going to take all I get back. So, no new bike this year, but I really need this more than anything else so I am just thankful that I will finally be able to have it put in this year. During the hot of last summer the coolest my house would get during the day was 80 degrees. going to be nice this summer. :)

Not looking forward to taxes, as much as we've paid already.......really hoping we don't owe more... :(

Our taxes are stupidly high....more like a modern day mob. :banghead:

have you seem what other countries pay? 33% is low, and most peeps aren't in that tax bracket, most are lower.

Because they are all socialist, and I fear that's where we are heading.

And how sad... I have already spent my tax return and i havent even gotten it yet . Actually more than my tax return. Oh well

Me too.....just did them last night....we paid a butt load of taxes for the year and Uncle Sam needs me to cut them another check for about 3 grand.....

Gotta pay down Obama's deficit, but I didn't know I was going to have to do that by myself! ???
