Hey Johnny.

I am a little confused with the recent dyno result. I dont know much, but is the torque curve suppose to be like that and if not what do you suppose might have gone wrong. Your the man for tuning & hope you can help as I didn't really get an explaination from the dyno operator.

Torque curve scale is blown up large. 15% change in torque over the usable RPM range is OK, but you can't tell if the motor is tuned because the A/F scale is way too small. Scale should show 0.2 increments to be useful.

i had a tl1000r that was slightly modded with airbox mod tre and grounding mod. If i remember right that is about right for the torque curve. Its a little goofy with them motors. Specially if you did the airbox mod. Or any exhaust goodies.

It might just be the way these bikes are you think. Goofy is a polite way of saying it. Sometimes when I open the throttle relatively fast it feels like it backfires thru the throttle bodies and misses temperarely :banghead:

this statement is more helpful than any graph.
remember what you posted is WOT on A pull nothing more
it does not show where you ride at or a roll on

like I have always said it is your bike you know what is right and not
if you feel it is not tuned properly take it bake and discuss it

I was just really wondering if that torque curve is normal or could it be a mistake or ??
Have you seen a TQ curve not follow the HP like that ??

Had a tl100r with airbox mod, tre, full yosh system, and pc3. Had the exact same problem your speaking of after i had it tuned. ended up having to take it back to the tuner and he added more fuel and the problem went away for the most part. still happened every once in a while though. those v twins are a little feisty and particular with tuning.
