Break the bank. Have a tail section made out of hand hammered aluminum that replicates the stock dimentions and is polished till it's shiny.

For that matter have a custom aluminum tank made.

I too went with black handlebars, black triple tree, and black cables. The only tough part was when I go out my grease pencil to outline the side cut-outs on the windshield so that the bike would turn without the handlebars banging the windshield. Mine had to be freehanded, or so I thought. I went to a glass and plastic window store. They did a fine job with their band saw . Then I went to the auto department in Wal-Mart and purchased a pair of black plastic door edge guards ($5.00+/-) and trimmed them to fit the windshield cut-outs for that finished look. HINT: measure, cut, blow with hairdryer until soft, and then press into place. Good luck and enjoy. (look in Gallery-Members Albums-T+2-troypennock)

Ken, I've already broken the bank! Do you realize how hard it was telling my wife how important it was to own a third motorcycle? And that was right after I bought a $6000 mountain bike! I consider myself very lucky at this point. Oh yeah, then there was the $350 single wheel bicycle trailer and $400 worth of ultra light camping gear for my cross country bicycle ride this June! Troy, I feel for you but the only plastic left on my scooter is the hump so fitment of the superbike bars was a real no brainer!

Here is your Prototype Stay Assembly..just add guages....Thanks for Your Patience...Be sure to let me know if there are any issues,and now that it is in the computer we can modify any heights or angles and have out in 2-3 days..

So Daniel (CloudNine Motorsports) calls me today and tells me my headlight/turn signal/tach speedo unit is done and he posted the pics on this strand! This is the first time I'm seeing it....WOW, he also said it should arrive at my house any day, too!
I will mount it, adjust it, take pics of it, then disassemble it and take it to my local powdercoat guy.
This is exciting, right before Spring! Doyle
