It feels like it skips a tooth on the sprocket when I get on the throtle. I replaced the cush drive, didn't help. I replace both sprockets and chain, nothin. Then I replaced the engine because I thought it might be the tranny, nope. I replaced the rimms with custom rimms, nada! So what the heck els can it be?

If it is a gen I and it happens in 2nd gear under hard acceleration, your 2nd gear is shot. Common gen I problem. Time to pull the motor.

Thats the first thing I thought.

Someone probably parted out the bike when the 2nd gear went out.

yes, second gear only! I did a total engine swap. Ok now that I know I got screwed on this engine how do I go about fixing it engine is now out and on the work bench I know I have to split the case to get to the tranny but is the 2nd gear able to be salvaged by cutting them deeper or do I have to buy 1 gear or the whole thing? If someone wants to give me a call to discused it that would be awesome 757-five92-18one8
