I think this was brought up before you registered on the site. If you research way back, you'll find that the concern with the rear hub is nothing to worry about...cosmetic casting. Not really cracks.

Sarge has got it exactly right. I swore that my hub was full of stress fractures when I examined it shortly after buying the back a year ago. The dealer said it was merely cosmetic. I wasn't convinced until several months later when I had the wheels and hub polished. Presto, no more stress fractures, just smooth, beautiful aluminum.

let me know if you need a sprocket and hub...

I was at my dealer voicing my concerns on this.... They said thy had never seen that particular problem. So, the service manager walked me over to a bunch of 600 & 750's. They look identical to mine... Sorry for the freakout.....
