I"M BACK!!!!

I've been without power since last Thursday due to a freak snow storm here in Western New York. No power, no cable and no internet. I feel like I was in the dark ages (well, I guess I was LOL). Missed reading all the posts here. Guess I got a lot of catching up to do!!!

I feel your pain! We had an ice storm here in Kansas City a few years ago in the month of October. The trees still had all the leaves on them, and with the weight of the ice it caused major damage. We were without power, phone service and cable for almost a month! I drove quite a distance and bought a generator that would power the whole house. It was good to have lights and heat, but getting up in the middle of the night to refuel the unit was a pain, and I did not have the nerve to total up how much I spent on gas.
