I just bought a lathe.....

I just bought a piece of equipment I always wanted, a Seiki Hitachi 6 station Turret Lathe. I have used this quite a few times, in the last years, but now it's mine and I want to learn it all, so, if anyone has any books on machining and lathe operation, that they can stand to get rid of, please let me know.

I will also be making custom pieces in the very near future, like bar ends, sliders, snowmobile shafts, whatever you can draw on paper I 'should' be able to make for you. I know this will be a long learning curve for me, but I have a few years to go yet, hopefully.

not bad, but I am thinking more metal work. I am going to make myself a custom pool cue, titanium and aluminum, plus a custom archery stab.

I might even make some baseball bats, fish clubs, like I said anything you can think of. Only thing is, I can barely spell pythagorean theorum, a2=b2+c2, angles and tapers are going to be oh so much fun.

its not cnc, all manual.
