I didnt get laid off this summer

Not my fault they gave me letter thanking me for my work just buisness thing.
Toss me in the unemployed pile.I was hauling+delivering lpg gas.I CONTACTED A FORMER EMPLOYER another tanker position hes calling owner.
I have also put in for expidited freight position otr running most of usa got 8 years exp running usa+Ontario. Darn didnt expect it they did a pearl harber number on me.:11zpissed:
I did have issues with co-worker trying play boss.Dont have problem taking orders but if you dont have stripes on your sleeves dont tell me what 2 do.Im clear 4 unemployment after I get my vacation pay.
I am not concerned because god will get me a better job.When 1 door closes another opens.Least im racing free this year with my beloved gold card.Whirpool just ran off 2 mexico from Evansville leaving 1000 unemployed so job market tough.

Even though we disagree on many aspects of life. I have to say I hope things turn around for you for the better in regards to work. It has to suck the way they did it especially if there was no cause for the "canning".

They gave me like a seperation paper that states I did good job and not my fault it hapened.

Propane looks like a seasonal business to some extent, ya need something that goes on year around. Try to find a driving job in the food industry. Buddy of mine drives an 18 wheeler for Associated Wholesale Grocer, makes great $$ (for this area anyway), home every night, no sign of any slowdown even in the worst of the recession (people gotta eat).
I built custom high performance boat propellors (bass boats) for 12 years. Good $$ for 8-9 months of the year, but laid off every winter without question. Know how it feels, bout the time you start getting situated and financially rolling, outa work AGAIN.
Good luck in your job hunt. Jobs are there, just a matter of being in the right place, and talking to the right people at the right time.

You have a HAZMAT endorsement, right? That's gonna help you as there are a lot of drivers out there who can't get/keep one.

Sorry to hear that. Now your job is to get another job. Be proactive and get out there every day. Applying online isn't enough, and it makes you a number not a person to the hiring personnel.

I was having issues with couple other employees @ times.
Lack of supervision not always good.
We would log out on hand held mobile device.
THey would leave @ say 1pm then next day put they left @ 3pm.
Got tired earning other guys checks 4 them.
I SAW SOME DECENT PROSPECTS IN PAPER 2DAY.
be nice land a job B-4 I draw any unemployment.Been having probs sleeping and with my stomach @ night think all this messing with my nerves.My dad used say good things wont just happen 2 you have make them happen what I plan 2 do.Today @ church I intend take my worry+problems+ lay them @ gods feet make things easy on myself.
