Ok, now that Silver Surfer has obliterated the first amendment () and Obama the second, will somebody please tell me chrome or charcoal powdercoat on the wheels? Here's the bike:

Actually neither.

There is en executive order being drawn up to ban all powder coating and chroming due to pollution concerns.

Just kidding

I agree with Mr. B on this one.

Nice looking bike BTW.

Thanks, for the comment and your opinion :). I'm kicking myself as I already bought a really nice set of powdercoated wheels with all new bearings, only to rethink the polished theme.

Thanks,, guys :beerchug: (:banghead:)

SS, or should I say SJ?

I do not listen to politicians, I read what the far left and far right publish so as to get the extremes to both sides and then build my own opinions on what is really going on.. I trust none of them any more than I trust a guy who is most intent on stealing my money or stealing power.. (the 2 prime reasons many go into politics in the first place)

Inauguration speeches are "victory" speeches and are built as such..

I watch actions far close than words.. were you aware that the order to fund abortions he signed is missing from the public records display on the white house web site? The order rescinded the ban of government funding of abortion.. This should help low income family's abort unwanted kids and turn them into fertilizer I suppose..

Not to say the sky is falling but you need to read closely the other executive order he signed in that essentially locks down national archives on presidential policy and records? Executive Order -- Presidential Records
This order hides the first one nicely...

We are in a recession and the first thing he does is remove a ban so now we can spend more of our tax money on something else. Let alone for foreign country abortions. Even if your not pro life this should bother you that he's sending more of our money over seas as a gift. I'm sure no matter how much money it is it could be better used here :dunno:

I heard that the vast majority of the media made it their mission to see that Obama made it to the white house.

Yeah I'm here. Here's some news for you,

Obama: U.S. not your enemy - Yahoo! News

Obama's popularity in the US probably exceeds 75%. Our main 'world adversary' if you will, are mostly members of the Muslim community, not Americans. Who else should he talk to right away, 26 million protestants? His decision to talk there first, also coincided with the intro of his special envoy.

guess again
After less than a week in office, Barack Obama's approval rating plunges 15 points http://http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1127427/After-week-office-Barack-Obamas-approval-rating-plunges-shocking-15-points.html?ITO=1490

And another
Gallup poll gives Obama gets 68 percent job approval rating
Gallup poll gives Obama gets 68 percent job approval rating .:. NewKerala - India 's Top Online Newspaper

Although still impressive numbers, let's look at it again in 6 months

Guess again? Are you kidding? Guess again? Ok ok, how about this, I'll fix it for you using your approval percentage of 68%, seven (whole) points less than my guess.

"Obama's popularity in the US is (68% according to CTA_Busa_LE.) Our main 'world adversary' if you will, are mostly members of the Muslim community, not Americans. Who else should he talk to right away, 26 million protestants? His decision to talk there first, also coincided with the intro of his special envoy.

So, my point is still made, what do you have to say that's more to the point???? I mean, over 4,000 American soldiers have already died right? Dealing with the Islamic world powers ASAP seems to me, to be the smartest thing he could do.

And how about adding the part of that poll that you left out?

"According to Politico, just a week ago, Gallup found an astonishing 83 percent approval of how he has handled his transition, showing he had even won over most Republicans"

EIGHT THREE PERCENT! Not too shabbly huh? And how about a comparison here?

"Gallup's initial job approval ratings were President John F. Kennedy, 72 percent; Dwight Eisenhower, 68 percent; Jimmy Carter, 66 percent; Richard Nixon, 59 percent; Bill Clinton, 58percent; George W. Bush, 57 percent; and Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, 51 percent."

If a new president came into office during WWII would you (not) want him to deal swiftly and directly with the powers of Germany, Japan and Italy?

Well you're pretty close to the point,

"By The Way I APPROVE Pepsi over Coke by 72% WHO CARES"

Let's say your poll involved a hundred people and 72 of them preferred Pepsi over Coke. Now, if you wanted to get your point across as a Pepsi lover and gain the confidence and possibly the cooperation of those that were among the 28 that preferred Coke, you wouldn't preach to the 72 member 'choir' that preferred Pepsi you'd speak to the 28 Coke lovers you need to convince.

Secondly, if you keep making insulting and sweeping statements like this,

"Oblama is a BAD NEWS President that was Elected by Guilty and Ignorant Americans !!!!!!"

you're going to continue having high blood pressure and a piss pour outlook on life in America. The majority of Americans, Dems, Repubs and Independents alike elected Obama and I don't believe that they were guilty (of what?) and ignorant.

"If we will not be governed by God, then we will be ruled by tyrants." --Wm. Penn

This is the whole deal, the root cause of our dillema. We have chosen the easy way. So we get the Bushs,Clintons, and Obama. All CFR puppets. Without God there is no wisdom and deceit will rule.

I agree 83% is a great rating and you are correct, 83% was his approval. However all of the oohs and aahs are passed, talk is over, he's there and he's got a job to do. He will be judged from here on out mostly on what he does and does not do rather than ideology of how he would run the country if elected. I'm willing to bet that the new wears off rather quickly. I would also be willing to bet that six months from now he will be around the 50% mark if not lower when it comes to approval ratings.

He has raised the expectations of the american people to a very high level, one that I do not believe anyone would be able to ever live up to. As people see the same ole washington after being promised change they will begin to have a different opinion of B.O.
