I'm willing to bet that the new wears off rather quickly. I would also be willing to bet that six months from now he will be around the 50% mark if not lower when it comes to approval ratings.

??? I don't know if you were one, but before the elections, I saw several predictions, gaurantees even, that Obama wouldn't win. I don't see this prediction biz as working too well for the Obama bashers

Yeah I'm here. Here's some news for you,

Obama: U.S. not your enemy - Yahoo! News

Obama's popularity in the US probably exceeds 75%. Our main 'world adversary' if you will, are mostly members of the Muslim community, not Americans. Who else should he talk to right away, 26 million protestants? His decision to talk there first, also coincided with the intro of his special envoy.

Mark my words his popularity will drop very quickly!???

Gallup polls show them almost dead even on popularity (66 vs 70%) as they took office and yep, I agree, the honeymoon wont last long (it never does) He best hope he can hold on better than his cohorts in the house and senate that hoping to even have double digits when it comes to approval ratings...
