ok so I was having a tough time getting the new windscreen to fit. I thought they gave me one for the 99-07. I looked up the part # and it matched to the 08. ok....so back to the garage to try again. FINALLY I got it in there. I'm not very happy with the product as a whole...I feel like I got a poorly crafted windscreen. idk, maybe I got a defect or something, idk. I LOVE the look, but not happy overall. Of course, the obligatory pics.

I'd heard that about their windscreen. Glad you finally got it to fit, bro. Lookin' good.

What an awesome machine!

What didn't you like about the fit? Just wondering what seemed wrong with it????

The shape of the mold of the screen where it bolts up is different. One side is more square (like the OEM screen) and the other is more smooth. Because of this, is doesn't fit smoothly along the fairing either...there's big spaces between the screen and the fairing in some spots and then it touches in other spots. Maybe I'm just being picky, but if I'm spending over $100 for this piece of plastic, I would like it to fit right is all.

I'd return it, dissatisfied, if I'd made that purchase.

what do ya think Scar? If I bring it back, will they order me a new one even though I've installed it? It just doesn't fit the way it should.
