Hesitation

hi guys, new here. my `04 busa started to hesitate only on 2nd gear at about 6500 rpm,it used to be only one time and that`s it, but allways in 2nd gear only,and it`s getting worse but still in 2nd gear only and now it does it 2 and 3 times during acceleration,it feels like a dead spot, like if you would loose ignition and suddenly gain it again, but in a form of a misfire, and i remember that it started shortly after i put one of them smart tre`s,so i unplogg it and still doing it , have you heard of something like this before?,i will apreciate any imput from you guys, thank you in advance for your response

Welcome to the board. have not heard of this problem, but someone will be able to help you here.

Ricky, welcome. You put on a tre, have doen any exhaust mods? Sometimes, if you change the exhaust, you will get a slight stutter or hesitation, a Power Commander will eliminate this. People will need more info - like any mods you have done. BTW, it is customary to post PICS!

yes, i put the dappinci slip on exhaus but i put it 6 months before this started, i have done a few things to it like a 16 frt sprocket and a 42 rear sprocket, a K&n air filter, extended 7 inches, a 200 rear tire with RC component wheels,and lots of chrome,but like a said, it has been more than 6 months before the problem developed, i even put nitrous in it but after the problem developed wich i can only use after 3rd gear because this beast really gets happy with it.I wilkl post some pictures just give me some time.

check your spark plugs.... they may be fouling out. ( I had the same thing happen to me) the pipes will cause the bike to run richer... also the tre could cause it to be richer.

I pull the spark plugs out, and i noticed that the number 4 coil was out all the way. so i put a new set of plugs and i noticed that still doing it but a lot less,i mean, close to 10000 rpm so i will try a coil on that cilynder.
