Saw severl on Friday, but not as many on Saturday. Not only was it memorial day but near the end of the month so they gotta make that quota and increase the state\city\local revenue. Meanwhile how many real crimes were committed?

well you could argue that they prevented some.. as a truck driver you sort of dread these big holiday weekends.. usually see some mini van upside down on the side of the road at 6AM with a family scattered in the ditch.. most sobering site you will ever see.... 4th of July is another nasty one..

I for one sort of like the extra heat on the roads to make people pay attention..

there are no quota's...its a myth when you see more officers out atthe end of the month its because they are using up overtime before they lose it

They are nasty simply because more people are on the road. Accidents like that are tragic but often there are multiple factors that contributed. The speed vehicles were traveling may have contributed to the accident but speed did not cause the accident. Speeding in and of itself affects no one.

On a car trip back from Long Beach to San Diego Sunday they were out in force.

On another subject my beautiful wife and I spent our 20th Anniversary aboard the Queen Mary and a really nice dinner at Sir Winstons.

Was at Myrtle Beach SC for the weekend holiday for Black Bike Week "AKA - Atlantic Beach Bike Rally", And yes they where every where!! I saw ever cop in the SC state in that three beach district I belive.
