Thanks Jefro, just answered his PM with that link and this:

- Most time the connector pins are not fully pushed in when flashing interface fails (I would add) please remove the orange cap off the front of the connector, this will make it easier for pins to seat and also easier to verify they are bottomed out in the connector. if you don't hear an audible click from the pin locking in the connector, it hasn't seated. if you put toggle switch in flash position with usb interface connected to laptop, and put bike in neutral, run switch on, and turn key on, your fuel pump should NOT prime. If it does, your wiring isn't correct.

This is what was happening with mine, the ground wire wasn't seated all the way. The orange cap really does have to come off, otherwise they are a real b!tch to get in there.

im available by email all day, i normally get home at 6pm eastern time for phone calls but have my son's teeball tonight, so email is best until about 8pm if you wanna give me a shout if still stuck. gotta be something easy, i test em right before i ship them so it has flashed already. Have you already went into gauge data and set com port and verified that works?

Here is a newer initial setup video i made.

Been trying to download the ECU editor but seems to stop half way every time. If I got the flashing kit can you include the software?

its an internet download only is how petrik has it setup, let it go, on a slow computer and if it needs all the updates from microsoft it can take a while to install the first time.
