I ordered a new seat cover and decided I may as well install a heated pad under it. Heated pad from AliExpress for $35.
Cut the controller off but will be using my Neutrino Black Box to progressively control the temperature with zero action on my part. Basically the colder the ambient temperature is the hotter the pad and my heated gear will get and when the ambient temperature rises the heated gear voltage will drop thereby decreasing the temperature of the heated gear. set and forget.
I still have to finish the installation and add a wire connector.
The actual start temperature was in the mid 50’s and after a while it got up to over 111. Not sure how much higher it would go but the description stated that it could go up to 158 (70c) degrees but I didn’t want to take it much further since I was was running it directly off a battery and didn’t have any inline protection. When I run it to my Neutrino black box I will set the fuse for 2.5 amps.
