Just wanted to share a project I’m working on…
3d printed with Nylon CF. Is using the same angle and distance of the OEM injectors

Now I move to the second part of the project, turbo on oem ecu ( like Ecueditor for gen 2 )

My plan is to run low boost 5-7 psi on completely stock engine with modified ecu firmware ( I don’t plan to go over 14 psi on fuel maps adjustment, so it would be the limit )

Never printed with nylon but I think I am gonna give it a shot. Having a hell of a time with PETG and its resolution.

you will LOVE the nylon finish, 0 fan speed, the layers bond like crazy

Made some changes to increase strength and also make sure is airtight.

Next step… build the turbo maps on stock ecu…

have you checked out companies who are doing 3d metal printing? Once you get it dialed in I’d check out Lincoln electric and their additive manufacturing side…..

Oh yeah. Even SLS will print it perfectly, I want this to be a easy and simple thing that you can print at home or pay a website to print for you, use a gen 2 plenum and stock ecu and run low boost with all oem features
